Why everyone should visit Yellowstone

I am now solidly convinced that everyone should visit Yellowstone National Park at least once in their lifetime.

The reasons, I believe, are quite clear-
Historical value:

Yes, my friends, everyone should visit Yellowstone.

More overseas adventures

L. and I had a superb belated honeymoon last week.

It started with a trip to Chico Hot Springs:

Our room was small, but clean and cute:

We had a leisurely soak in the warm pools and followed it up with an amazing dinner ('Best baked brie ever' according to L.)

And, of course, what would a most excellent dinner be without the wine?

We had a therapeutic soak before bed and another before breakfast. Then, it was a light breakfast in the nearby garden:

L.'s fingers required a quick rinse off by the nearby pump.

Then we checked out and headed for Yellowstone...

What we do...., part 2

L.'s first time on a motorcycle deserves its own post, I believe (and once you see all the excitement, I'm sure you'll agree).

So, L. had never been on a motorcycle and my dad and brother-in-law felt the need to correct that (by teaching him to drive one in 30 min and then commencing to take him on an off-road tour up a boulder-strewn creek bed).

My dad begins the lesson with a short talk on the importance of protective gear.

Never the less, the guys still decided to go on with the original tour:

And fortunately arrived with smiles and only minor injuries:
