The hallway

A week without internet has meant: a) no blog posts and b) much more time and energy for painting.

The hallway is now mostly L.'s much beloved Sash Red, with only minor touch-ups necessary.

The ceiling, after no less than five coats of paint, has finally decided to stay white.

The wood panelling will eventually be a slightly green/cream (something like this). We found the perfect colour to match the Sash Red, but, unfortunately, B&Q were out of it. So, we improvised. And bought a whole litre of something similar. Only, a bit too green. And florescent.

(Hard to tell in the photos, but it does glow in natural light).
Not exactly what we wanted for the hallway, but I have great hopes for it in the lean-to.

And finally, in exasperation, I turned the twice-wallpapered, thrice-painted wall over to L., who has made incredible progress.
