L. and I have been busy plotting the very necessary rebuilding of the lean-to. At first, we thought we would just tear off the current wooden frame and build a new one on the old foundations, with maybe a better window. However, we had the brilliant idea of talking to the estate agent who sold us the house (I know, I've watched far too many property ladder shows). He assured us that rebuilding it bigger and better would be well worth the money and effort, so we've been getting quotes on big and lovely double-glazed windows, and I've been happily dreaming of us eating relaxing dinners whilst looking out at the garden.
